The Boarding House served as a dramatic, light-filled venue for this beautiful occasion; celebrating this bride-to-be with all her closest family and friends.  The bride was looking for a day that matched her personal style: “shabby chic” with a touch of class, which resulted in a room sprinkled with pastel wildflowers, unique vintage pieces, and rustic modern touches.  I assisted the bride and her sister with each part of the event, from designing the event, to renting/buying décor, writing custom signs, designing game cards, designing the floral arrangement the day of, and capturing photos as the event unfolded.  Guests left with fond memories of a cozy afternoon on an otherwise chilly February day in Chicago.
